8 JUNE 2022, BANGLADESH – The monsoon season has brought landslides and flooding to Bangladesh. In the northeast, housing for around 5 million residents have been flooded and the death toll is climbing.
A-PAD Bangladesh is managing a disaster response management center in Habiganj Town, a severely affected town in Sylhet Division. The team on the ground is currently distributing emergency relief items using boats including food, water purification tablets, hygiene kits, and more.
As the flood damage expands, A-PAD Bangladesh will continue to provide relief items and medical services in the affected areas.
