The other major program of the A-PAD Philippines is a reflection of its founding mission, to alleviate human suffering and facilitate faster recovery of disaster-affected communities. Since 2016, A-PAD PH has responded to the human impact of volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, flash floods, tropical cyclones, and more. Emergency aid was distributed in the form of food and non-food relief goods as well as cash-based intervention.
