17 MARCH 2022, TANDAG, SURIGAO DEL SUR- A-PAD PH, as a member of the National MSMEs Resilience Core Group (RCG) is committed to strengthening the disaster resilience of MSMEs through capacitating and providing them with Business Continuity Planning (BCP) training. This effort is aligned and in coordination with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), being the government agency mandated in the promotion of BCP training to MSMEs. The one-day BCP training/workshop is part of the 6-month program on BCP training which capacitated the MSMEs and aimed to develop their own business continuity plans. A total of 20 training participants from 14 different enterprises in Tandag City, Surigao del Sur attended the face-to-face training workshop.
The activity was co-organized by the APAD PH and Tandag Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. on March 15, 2022 for Batch 1 andMarch 17, 2022 for Batch 2, facilitated by the Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation (PDRF). The training was a hybrid learning process where; participants were gathered face-toface with one speaker while the other speakers were on zoom. This activity was made possible through the support of the People of Japan through its Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

A-PAD led a 2nd multi-stakeholder forum in San Fernando City aiming to strengthen collaboration & understanding among key DRRM stakeholders.
A-PAD PH donated emergency medical supplies, including shelter tents, AEDs, and PPE, to the Philippine Medical Association to contribute to strengthening their disaster preparedness and response capabilities.
