When large-scale disasters strike, medical response can mean the difference between life and loss.
The Tripartite Simulation Drill 2025 was conducted in partnership with the Philippine Medical Association (PMA) and the Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation (PDRF) to enhance coordination, readiness, and rapid response capacity in times of crisis. A-PAD Philippines led the participation and onboarding of international medical teams through Peace Winds Japan and Taiwan, strengthening cross-border collaboration for emergency medical response.
The exercise simulated real-world disaster scenarios, testing how medical teams, responders, and agencies work together under pressure. The event also marked a milestone with the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement between A-PAD Philippines, PMA, and PDRF, further institutionalizing the partnership between the health and private sectors for resilience and preparedness.
This initiative forms part of A-PAD PH’s ongoing mission to strengthen multi-sector coordination, empower local responders, and ensure that no community faces disaster unprepared.
