In Ormoc City, microentrepreneurs like Joy Ambojia and Lolito Eisola are leading the way in disaster preparedness through the Microentrepreneurs Resilience Program (MERP). With training from A-PAD Philippines, they’ve adopted practical strategies to protect their businesses and serve their communities during emergencies—proving that resilience starts at the grassroots.
NWU and NSCC ties partnership with A-PAD PH
7 MARCH 2022, ILOCOS SUR –Northwestern University (NWU) and the Nueva Segovia Consortium of Cooperatives (NSCC) officially partnered with A-PAD PH for DRRM advocacy in the region’s local communities.
After the Ilocos Regional Platform Launching last February 2019, APAD PH reconnected with NWU and NSCC last January 2022 to reintroduce the organization as a registered NGO operating in the Philippines and its current activities and projects related to DRRM.
Both organizations also agreed to be co-organizers of the upcoming Ilocos Regional Platform Meeting in April 2022, in NSCC Plaza, Caoayan, Ilocos Sur.
